For many gamers, playing a favorite game offers a brief escape from their worries. Redditor lb-Cyber is one such gamer, and when he lost his sister after a nine-year battle with cancer, he turned to Skyrim. He wrote up a post on reddit about how the game helped him through his depression, not knowing the folks at Bethesda would see his post. They asked him for his mailing address and on the one year anniversary of his sister’s death, a package arrived at his door.
Inside was a Skryim art book signed by the staff. “I absolutely was floored, and a day I thought would be absolutely agonizing ended with an incredibly heart-warming and unexpected moment of absolute kindness,” wrote lb-Cyber. Nice work, Bethesda.
