Kiefer Sutherland has moved on from Jack Bauer to voicing Snake in the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Konami made the announcement at its E3 press conference yesterday. This is big news as Sutherland replaces voice-actor David Hayter who has played Snake in all previous incarnations of the character.
It won’t be just his voice you’re hearing either. You’ll be seeing his expressions, too, through the use of motion capture technology. Sutherland is very excited to take on such an iconic role and lend his own interpretations to the character in this new story that takes place after the upcoming Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes but long before Metal Gear Solid IV.
